Exodus 14:15-31 presents us with the account where Moses parts the Red Sea. Well, really it was God who did it, but He used His servant Moses to get the job done. As I read this in my devotions I wrote this in my journal:
Real faith always demands we move forward. We can't just 'tell' Gid we trust Him. We've really got to throw it in. Hold nothing back. God's waiting. He's done His part. He's worked miracles out on our behalf and now He's just waiting for us to move. OK. So maybe He's not parting the Red Sea and making 'tangible' miracles for us right and left like in the Old Testament. But He's still God, and He has given us ALL we need. God's waiting. Now it's my move.
